Rhodes
Sydney, NSW, AUS
The multi-purpose precinct consists of four distinctly designed architectural pavilions with various community engagement facilities including an e-resource centre, learning space, digital gallery, and restaurants.
The architectural forms remain quietly dormant and basks in the surrounding environmental domain. The public realm and outdoor spaces neighbouring the perimeter of the pavilions become activated as night ascends over the picturesque Rhodes foreshore. The creative, public art installation provides a colourful, playful, and vibrant display.
The pedestrian-friendly landscape design, undulating levels, waterfront views and multi-faceted transportation corridor provides a more inviting public destination for the Rhodes community.
